Raymond

Ugh, why me I'm only here because those people that are after my sister and I, I frowned and rubbed my forehead. Rachel was sitting beside me and gave me a nudge. I glanced over and she was looking at me as if to say 'well'.

I looked at my accuser, "Dare, I guess."

"Blast," Marty muttered. "I don't know your power."

"He can manipulate light," My sister kindly obliged.

I gave her a glare as the other spoke, "Ah, put on a light show for us. One minute long should suffice."

"A light show?" I grumbled. "Alright."

I closed my eyes and felt for the power, I dug it out from within and brought it forth. My body began to shine as I enacted my power, filling the room with a warm glow. My eyes opened and I pushed the light forward into the air and in the middle of the circle, extinguishing all other light sources until only mine remained. I danced the light and colored the walls and faces of the onlookers with marvelous shades of color they had likely never seen before, or rather, the brilliance and intensity they had never seen. So filled with rapture were we all that no one noticed Jared enter the room and sit himself down in the circle.

I ended the light show and smirked as they clapped for me and I shrugged, "That wasn't much of a dare."

Marty smirked, "I didn't know what exactly she meant. I'll do better next time."

I spun the bottle and it landed on my sister, I grinned evilly. She had secretly confided in me her feelings toward Jared. She looked at me in horror as I asked the fateful question.

"Truth?" I paused, "or dare?"

I knew she dare not say truth for then I would assuredly make her tell everyone how she felt about him. The reply came slowly, "Dare."

I created a single source of light in the room so that she would be sitting in shadows. I leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I dare you to kiss him on the lips. You may go invisible if you wish."

She was invisible before I had finished speaking.
