I was sorting through a stack of paperwork that was given to me by one of my superiors. They said they needed me to look them over, but wouldn't tell me why. They said they were holding someone of interest to me, and that once I had finished my "homework" they would let me in on their secret. A young new officer came running into my office, "Sir, Ivar has breached his contract." She was the same age as Ivar but didn't have the combat skills he had so she was on surveillance. Ivar didn't know that the special pin we gave him to wear was actually a tracking device.

"Close the door, Allison, what has he done?"

Once she had closed the door she rushed over to the desk, I waved for her to sit. She eagerly sat in front of me like a kid who was about to tattle on someone for something that would likely get them into a lot of trouble. "Sir, not only did he tell his partner everything, but they also pursued a suspect, went into combat, lost our suspect, put his partner in danger, nearly getting her killed, and finally gave her some of his blood to heal her."

She spoke so quickly I barely caught what she was saying. Impressive, there was a lot more to surveillance than I had known. "Good job, Allison. Do you know where they are now?"

"Yes sir! He was just seen leaving his partner at her quarters. I suspect he is headed here, since that's where his girlfriend is living."

"Thank you, Allison. Get Mike to help you take him into custody, I'll send Jeff and Marty to his partner's home. That is all, you are dismissed."

She stood up and saluted me, I just chuckled as she ran out of the room shouting, "Hey Mike, get your butt off the computer we've got a mission!"
Computer geeks, life is one big game to them.

I then dialed my home number Rain answered, "Hey sweetie, tell mom I will be a little late tonight. We had a little mishap with your friend Ivar today."

"Of course. Please stop calling him my friend."

"Yes, sorry. Good bye."
