Samantha

(I just came up with this great idea, let me know if it works for you)

Alex walked into the room, and I grinned widely at him. "I know why I'm here, but why are you here?"

He didn't seem to understand my question and dismissed it. "So, I hear you can see that future. That's funny, because you can't see the present."

"I know, ironic isn't it? I could see perfectly when I was born, but then something happened while I was staying at the hospital and I went blind. They say it was because I was born early, but I know why. I think you do too."

Alex was avoiding my questions, "So, tell me then, why do you think we're in grave danger? I hardly believe you can see the future."

"I can't just see the future, I can hear it."

Alex was getting really annoyed with me by this point, "She knows nothing. You're wasting my time."

"You'd like to believe that, wouldn't you? You know I'm right."

"Fine then, what do you hear?"

"Screaming. Lots of screaming. Particularly you screaming."

"that's preposterous, how can you discern people by their screams?"

"You've never been blind before, have you?" I joked, "I can tell people apart by the way they smell, or the way they walk, even the way they breathe. To me, screaming is just another way of talking."

"Fine then, I'll believe that. But how is it that you knew it was me when this was our first time meeting?"

"Foolish boy, this is not our first time meeting. You truly don't remember do you?"

That was the last straw, Alex couldn't take anymore, "of course I don't remember being a baby in the same hospital as you! this is ludicrous! Let me know when she starts making sense." Alex stormed out of the room.

I just grinned, "he'll be back."

The guard snorted in disgust, "if you weren't blind I'd smack you."
