Jared

(Are you wanting me to keep pushing forward? The word from the Luke is don't wait he won't be posting for a while. K, well I don't quite remember where everything left off but here goes.)

"You left Daila to go get them alone?" I asked, hoping he had a better reason than the one he just told me.

Ivar didn't quite know what to say, "Yeah I thought you'd want to know..."

I cut him off and my voice raised until I was yelling at him, "You let her go on alone! I don't care what the reason is unless it was your life in danger or her life in danger or my life in danger. Imminent danger! Not this unforeseeable event that I can do nothing to stop." He looked away like a child whose hand got caught in the cookie jar, "Don't you get it? Her life could now be in mortal danger. I sent you because you are the only one who has fought any of them before. You know what you are up against, at least in part and because you have more experience using your magic in combat."

"I'm sorry I don't know what I was thinking," He continued to look down.

"That's fine. Stay here find her a room make her read and sign the contract and I'll be back," I turned to the crowd of fellow youngsters that had gathered. "I can take one person with me."

"It's still day my powers would be mostly useless," Rachel said. Many had similar excuses. "Fine, Rain, let's go. We're going to get your dad anyways and once they are back here safely we can go looking for your mother."

*Meanwhile*

"I'm so glad you are able to set me up with that meeting Mr. President." Alex grinned. "I will be sure to pass on my thanks to congress and the media. However, I will only be able to make them believe something."

"What's that?"

"Call your daughter out," He continued to smirk. "The photos were fakes, the testimony of a known gang member accounts for little and your daughter has been known to despise living here. Why wouldn't she want you to fail?"

"You're saying I bury my daughter in order to succeed?" Alex felt the doubt in his mind.

"You will bury your daughter." I commanded. "And you will like it."

The words mixed with his magic and the president replied, "I'll bury my daughter." He grinned, "And I'll like it."

Alex's grin broadened as the camera fades to black.
