Kindra

Kindra was sitting with Zach at their normal table, "So you are sure your contact is right and my father was captured a few days ago?"

He nodded, "What about our deal? You didn't forget did you?"

"Just make sure your contact has you in interrogation in ten minutes and keeps you there for at least twenty more and don't tell him why," I demanded. "I better go show them I'm a good girl and won't fight during the transfer."

Zach laughed at the thought and I sauntered off to get checked out and restrained. After fifteen minutes of checking, double checking and triple checking the restraints they placed on my arms, legs and even one on my neck, they decided it was secure and let me into the elevator that would take me up and out to the corridor separating the two areas.

I was being transferred to the female area even though I was extremely dangerous, I guess they figured I get in less fights over here but I would doubt that. About half way through I saw the hallway I need to find. One of them was holding a chain that led to my neck.

I flexed my right arm against the shackles, they were loose just like Zach said. So that meant one of those who had put the restrains on me was his contact. That really didn't matter at the moment. I was barely able to get my right arm out without them noticing it was free.

"Sorry I got a charlie horse," I groaned. "Just a sec please."

They stopped and the leash on my neck went slightly slack. I quickly located Zach and he was a few floors down, back in the mist. That's okay, they won't expect me to go down. I quickly grabbed the leash and ripped it from the man's hands. Then I went invisible and ducked inside a room. Alarms went off immediately. Using my free arm I got the chains off and the collar and made my way down to where Zach was. It had been less than a day since I tried to escape and the camera hadn't been fixed in that room yet. Zach was in that room.

I opened the door and said, "Come on let's go."

He looked around, "Kindra? You can go invisible too?"

"I can do a lot of things now let's get out of here," I replied. "Come on."

I led him by the arm through the facility, avoiding the people that were using cameras to try and find us. Getting out with him was a lot harder than it would have been alone. We made it out of the mist safely.

"Now then," I came visible. "Time for you to put your power to use and get us past the security field."

"The what?" He stammered. "That sounds bad."

"Not really," I shrugged. "It's basically just like the guns they have except it's surrounding the facility like a giant fence. You can get through it."

"I'm not sure I can," He murmured.

"You get us out of here or you get to deal with Cali," I said pointing.

"I guess I can try and run fast enough for that," He stammered. "But don't get mad at me if you get zapped."

I shrugged, "And if you fall unconscious I'll carry you to safety."

He took a deep breath and put his arm around my waist and lifted me up, "Here goes."

Cali was very close and then suddenly we were on the other side of the security fence. He had, as I suspected, fallen unconscious. I looked up at the post that helped the field to form and blew a kiss at the camera pointed at us. I picked him up and ran into the night intent on finding the closest allies I could sense, Ivar and Jessica.
