My name is Victor, and I am an under cover cop. Living in the bustling areas of Virginia, basically DC. I never get any rest. That is until today... my cover was blown.
"Sam, we know you've been holding out on us"
"You got's it all, I swear, Bruno. You know me honest to the teeth."
"I want my money" they searched me. "Sam this ain't money" it was worse. They found my wire.

Irrigation soon persisted. "What do the cops know! Don't make me-" the curse words flew, I was drugged. I remember the only reason I was able to bear it all... my son my pride and joy, Johny. I couldn't tell them anything. I had to protect my family.
My wife had left me early in our marraige, leaving me to raise a new born boy, working at Wal-mart. The only compassion was my cousins. I often had to leave him over there while I pursued a career that could support us. I became a cop working the beat, the rage was nice. Being able to escape it all and act like one of those secret agents off of the TV.
"Filthy cop, we'll get 'im to squeal. just need to get him a little more morphine."
In one of my narrow flights of consciousness. I was able to break out. Though I was hit by a bus. And thats how you see me here. Sammy the hobo dead, and broken Victor in his place.
"Dad!" my boy ran over, squeezing me tight.
"How did I?"
The Doctor jumped in. "Since your blood type is so rare, Mr. Taber, your boy saved your life." Looking at my boy I said the most heart felt thing I could think of "you're still not going to that party at Britney's."
"Dad!" he complained but he knew I loved him. After some balloons and some cake.
The boy walked out of the room and cousin Jerry walked up. "Victor, you can't keep doing this to the boy."
"Don't worry I'll get out-"
"You've been saying that for years victor." plopping some papers on to my chest. "he needs a family thats more stable. Johny needs a better home."

"These are papers for transfering custody. THESE-" Johny walked in. Saving face, I just stared at Jerry. "we'll talk about this later"
At the cool of the night, I was still filling out papers. I had to do something to stop this from happening. The news was on, it seemed to be the same old world I was trying to change. "and in other news, a solar eclipse is going to happen in two days."
that'd be great for me and Johny to see together (his full name Jonson Tabor).

"Nurse, how long do I have to be here?"
"Told you three times, Mr. Taber, you'll have to be here 46 hours more, till you can be released." The documentation debriefing always takes a while. A cover up death was always a bugger of paper work. "thanks nurse... thanks"

Looking out the window, got to do something. the subtle drip of the IV kept me awake. "it was interesting, his boy was giving him life now."
This has to be the last case. Finish up the court reviews make the sting-finish the paper... who was I kidding I'm still going to be a cop. I just need more time with my kid.
